My Favorite Resources
The Happy Scientist is a great free science resource with all kinds of videos and practice questions. It also tells you which lessons align with state standards! I use it when a parent needs help meeting particular state standards or supplementing their curriculum. I just click the grade level and standard I am trying to meet.
US History. This website has an easy-to-use site that contains information on everything US History and government. It's helpful as background knowledge for the teacher, or as a source for high school students. It also has a free built-in online curriculum. I have used it as a resource to both high school students and parents teaching US History and government.

Khan Academy is an organization that you are probably already familiar with, but it deserves recognition. It provides instructional videos and practice for many of the core subjects. I especially use this when I need help teaching a particular subject in math. I watch the video before teaching or re-teaching the lesson so I get a good overview of how to present the lesson. I can then have the students or parents watch it at home for reinforcement and homework help. In the homeschool setting, I have sent the links to particular subjects that I know a student is struggling in.
